Every QuickTalker Freestyle comes with five years of ableCARE—unlimited repairs, full replacement coverage, and on-demand support from our team. No hidden clauses. No loopholes. Just practical answers and total peace of mind.

Below you’ll find answers to common questions about your ableCARE coverage, from warranty details to replacement procedures. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, our support team is always here to help.

App Specific Questionsđź”—

Whether in the Evaluation phase, or if your device is approved, and still in warranty, we can assist in changing and maintaining your preferred speech app.

  1. First visit our Warranty form, you’ll see an option to Replace or Swap an app  and Add An App, and fill out the form that follows.
  2. Then look for a follow up email with further instructions OR a confirmation message. Some apps require further steps, if you have questions, reply directly to the confirmation email.

TD Snap will be delivered via the App store, and we will provide Apple Gift Cards once per year while the device is still in warranty. An Apple Account is required to request the app.

This page will walk you through the necessary steps to install TD Snap on your QuickTalker Freestyle. TD Snap Installation Preparation and Activation Process.

Once you’ve completed all of the steps, our ableCARE Operations team will send you a group meeting link for you to attend to finish activating your TD Snap subscription. 

TD Snap is a Subscription Based Speech app, and the speaking upgrade may deactivate if the device is offline for too long.

A Damaged device may still function, but it may be a hazard, and can be replaced. Our 5 Year Warranty Covers All physical Damage:

  • Screen Damage
  • Case Damage
  • Failing batteries
  • Dead or frozen pixels

First, backup the device: Back Up Your Speech App – AbleNet | SupportHub.

Then visit our Warranty form, select – “Device Damaged (Broken Screen, etc. ) ” , and fill out the form that follows. Look for a follow up email with a shipping label and further instructions on how to backup, then ship the old device to us for replacement, if you have questions reply directly to the confirmation email.

The QuickTalker may freeze if left in guided access 24×7, be sure to end guided access so the device is allowed to update automatically overnight, if left in guided access, the device may freeze when attempting to update.

Screen Time Passcodes:
This passcode is generally set to limit access to specific apps, email [email protected] for guidance.
