How to Update Your QuickTalker Freestyle Operating System
Important iOS 27 Update
On Tuesday September 15th, your QuickTalker Freestyle speech device will be eligible to update to iPadOS 27. We recommend waiting 30 days before updating to allow Apple and app developers time to respond to unforeseen bugs or issues.
Updates to the QuickTalker Freestyle’s operating system may be necessary to install important patches for device enhancement or security.
In the event updates are needed, please follow these steps:
- Plug in your device if not charged to at least 50%.
- Open the Settings app.
- Connect to Wi-Fi if not already connected.
- Tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- The device will check to see if a new version of the software is available automatically.
- If an update is available, tap Install.
