You’re here because: Your speech app isn’t updating or an update won’t finish.
What To Do
- Make sure you’re following the right instructions. Your updating process depends on whether or not your device is managed by AbleNet.
- Managed devices: Get Automatic Speech App Updates
- Unmanaged Devices: Update Your Speech App From the App Store
- Exit the speech app. Your app won’t update if you’re still using it. Exit out and return to it in 10 minutes while it updates.
- Exit Guided Access. Turn off Guided Access so you can exit your speech app.
Wi-Fi Issues
- Leave your Wi-Fi connected overnight. Check in the morning to see if it updated.
- Request unrestricted access from your school district. Your Wi-Fi access may be limited on school Wi-Fi, due to firewalls and other restrictions. Here’s how to request unrestricted access from your school district.
