Create a whole page using Page Wizard templates and customize for your user!
NOTE: Make sure you customize your pages to best meet your client’s needs. This tool is incredibly useful, but wee want to make sure that communication is purposeful, dynamic, and meaningful for the user.
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Page Editor
- Select the orange plus sign
- Select Page Wizard under “Step by Step”
- You have 3 options to choose from:
- Activity Board: a page focused on an activity. Type in what you’re doing, and it will generate a complete page with core vocabulary and activity-based words with matching images in a grid.
- Consistent Button Grid: Pre-filled grid with buttons used most often in the app. GTN+ will look at your existing pages and pull in buttons you’re already using consistently.
- Blank: Start from scratch! Pick a grid, type your words, and the app will find images for you.
- Create your board: select and edit the grid size, add or change the images and button text, and name the page.
- Select Preview Pages to see a text overview of the buttons
- Select Add to Book to see how they’ll be color coded and make changes as needed.
- Select Continue to see a preview of the symbols for each button, change as needed.
- Select Continue to create your board.
