Voice Banking allows individuals to preserve or personalize their communication. It can create a digital version of a person’s own voice before speech changes occur or enable a non-speaking individual to communicate using the voice of a parent, sibling, or same aged peer.
While Flexspeak offers a variety of synthesized voices across multiple languages, Voice Banking can provide more natural pronunciation and better reflect regional accents and dialects, creating a more personalized communication experience.
To use the Voice Banking feature, you will need to:
- Select the gear to open settings.
- Select Speech and Language.
- Select Banked Voices.
- Select Bank Voice.
- Select Continue.
- Follow the prompts to record five different phrases.
- Select Bank My Voice to save.
- You can change the name of the voice.
- Select Use Banked Voice.
