A trusted phone number is the number Apple uses to confirm it’s really you when you sign in. Follow these steps to switch to a different number than the one you used when you first created the account.

Before You Begin

This article covers changing the trusted phone number on your QuickTalker Freestyle’s dedicated Apple Account. Don’t have one yet? Create a dedicated Apple Account first.

• Connect your QuickTalker Freestyle to Wi-Fi.
• Create a dedicated QuickTalker Freestyle Apple Account.
• Turn on two-factor authentication.
• Phone numbers to add or update. It can be a mobile or landline number.

Instructions

You can manage your trusted phone numbers one of two ways: either on the QuickTalker Freestyle, or on the web!

On Your QuickTalker Freestyle

1. Open Settings, then tap the user’s name.
2. Tap Sign-In & Security.
3. Tap Two-Factor Authentication.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Tap Add a Trusted Phone Number.

On the Web

1. Sign in at account.apple.com.
2. Select Sign-In and Security.
3. Select Account Security.
4. Add or remove phone numbers under “Trusted Phone Number.”
