Creating a dedicated QuickTalker Freestyle Apple Account for your QuickTalker Freestyle only takes a few minutes. We require a new Apple Account for each QuickTalker Freestyle speech device.

Follow these steps to create your QuickTalker Freestyle Apple ID:🔗

1. Begin by connecting the device to Wi-Fi.
2. In Settings, tap Apple Account in the top left corner. Then tap the blue Don’t have an Apple Account?
   • IMPORTANT: DO NOT create a Child or Teen account, and DO NOT connect the account to family sharing.
3. Tap Adult and enter your or your loved one’s (must be 18 or older) first and last name, along with a valid date of birth that is older than 18, then hit Continue.
4. DO NOT enter a personal email for this step. The QuickTalker Freestyle requires a dedicated iCloud email address to be created for the device. To create an iCloud email address, tap the blue Don’t Have an Email Address?, and then tap Get an iCloud Email Address
   • Note: DO NOT select “Use existing email address”, and to avoid unnecessary emails, you can toggle off the “Announcements”.
5. Create your iCloud account (e.g. [email protected]), and tap Continue.
6. If the email is available, a prompt will appear for you to tap the blue button that says, Create Email Address,
7. You will then be asked to create a password.
   • IMPORTANT: Save your iCloud email address and password.
8. Enter a phone number you will always have access to, as the 2-factor authentication code will send a text message with a code to the number you’ve chosen for your Apple Account.
9. Agree to the terms and conditions. You have now completed creating an Apple Account.
