If you’ve requested a speech app that requires an in-app purchase to unlock features like PCS symbols, Gateway vocabulary, or to unlock full access to the app, you are required to complete the following steps: 

Step 1: Device Backup🔗

If a version of your app was included on your device without the in-app purchase, and you’ve already started using it, create a backup of your vocabulary files.  

Step 2: Create an Apple Account:  🔗

Create a dedicated QuickTalker Freestyle Apple Account that will only be used on this QuickTalker Freestyle.  

Step 3: Contact ableCARE🔗

Contact ableCARE at (651) 294-3101 or [email protected] to request: 

• The removal of the app that was included on your device 
• Access to the App Store where you will download your app 
• A gift card that will be used to pay for the app and in-app purchase 

Step 4: Import Your Backup🔗

If you created a backup, re-import the backup into your app.
