How to Change the Voice

• In the app, select the Settings icon (cog icon) at the bottom right.
• You can choose from in-app voices or voices from other sources.

For in-app voices:

• Select “Change My Voice.”
• Use the left and right arrows beside the picture to scroll through the voice options.
• To preview a voice, select the microphone symbol.
• You can also adjust the rate and pitch of each voice:
  • Speed: Select the three lines with dots and move the circle toward the turtle to speak slower, or toward the rabbit to speak faster.
  • Pitch: Move the circle toward the left for a lower pitch or toward the right for a higher pitch.
• Once you have found a voice you like, select “Select and Save” at the bottom.

For voices from other sources:

• Select “Use Voices from Other Sources.”
• Browse the available voices listed under “System Voices.”
• To preview a voice, select its name.
• Once you have found a voice you like, ensure it is highlighted, then select “Use Selected Voice” at the bottom.

Spoken is also compatible with ElevenLabs voices. To use these, you will need to create an ElevenLabs account, obtain an API key, and enter it in the app.
