Speech Assistant – How to Add Saved Phrases to Buttons
There are three ways to add saved phrases to buttons in Speech Assistant:
Option 1 — From the home screen:
- Select the “+” in the action button area (top right corner of the screen).
- Select “New Phrase.”
- Type in the phrase and a label.
- If desired, use the blue icons next to the label to adjust the button color, add an image, or attach a speech recording.
- On the right side, select the category and position for the button.
- Select “Add.”
Option 2 — From Settings:
- Select the Settings icon (wheel icon) in the action button area (top right corner of the screen).
- Select “Categories/Phrases and Users” → “Categories.”
- Select the category you would like to edit.
- In the top left corner:
- Select “Edit” to modify an existing phrase.
- Select “++” to add multiple phrases at once.
- Select “+” to add a single phrase.
Option 3 — From the message bar:
- Type the phrase into the message bar.
- Select the “+” in the action button area (top right corner of the screen).
- Select “Save Current Phrase.”
- Select the category to save it to, adjust any other settings, and select “Save.”
