1. Go to the main page of the app with “settings,” “connect” and “board” as options 
2. Select Settings 
3. Select Board builder 
4. Select Add new board 
5. Choose a premade board option
6. Then, add a name
7. Select Save

*Weave Chat does not offer voices. Only voices offered within iOS are available.

4. Select English 
5. Select option under “Language” to change the language and select the options under “voice identifier” to choose a voice 
6. Select Update

1. Go into a board, select ‘edit’ in bottom left
2. Navigate to the button you would like to edit
3. Select ‘edit’ in top toolbar
4. Press and hold the button to be edited
5. A popup will then appear to edit

1. While in the board, select Edit in bottom left
2. Select Hide in top left 
3. Tap a button to hide or unhide it
4. Select Stop when done and exit edit mode

How to add a new category:

1. Go to the board, select Edit in bottom left 
2. Navigate to the page you want to edit
3. Select New in the top purple toolbar options 
4. Select Category folders
5. Select Add new custom category
6. Select the preferred image and adjust button title, pronunciation, and category as necessary 
7. Select Press to save

How to add a new button: 

1. Go to board, select Edit in bottom left 
2. Navigate to page you want to edit 
3. Select New in the top purple toolbar 
4. Select Image
5. Select Add new custom button
6. Select preferred image (from photo library or weave chat images) 
7. Adjust the title, pronunciation, and category as necessary 
8. Select Press to save

1. Go to board, select Edit in bottom left 
2. Select Swap at the top
3. Press and hold on a button
4. Search for the button you would like to replace it with and select it
5. Select Stop

Follow these steps to move buttons on secondary level pages. 

1. Go to board, select Edit in bottom left 
2. Navigate to the page you would like to edit 
3. Select Move from the top toolbar
4. Press and hold the button to be moved. Then, select the place to move it to.
5. Select Stop when finished

Weave Chat makes automatic backups to your account.  

1. Go to settings
2. Select Pin configuration
3. Type in a PIN
4. Check “Enable PIN”
5. Select what you would like to use the PIN to lock 
6. Select Press to sav

1. On the device you are remoting in with, head to the Weave Chat Website
2. Select Launch connect
3. Select Get Started. You should see “Use your Connect token.”
4. Open the app on the QuickTalker Freestyle
5. Select Profile
6.  Select Weave Chat Connect
7. Retrieve the token and enter it into the remote devices browser

Vocabulary packs add additional categories to a Weave Chat board. 

1. From your board, select Edit in bottom left
2. Select Vocab
3. Select a vocab pack
4. Select Add topic to board in top green banner.
