Fast AAC is a robust, category-based AAC app that supports a variety of communication needs.  Layouts can be customized by adjusting grid and tile sizes to meet an individual access needs.  With multimodal capabilities, FastAAC offers a variety of communication methods including core words, grid layouts and visual scenes, to support users in expressing themselves and communicating to the best of their abilities.  The Recommendations feature allows communication partners to add common phrases, supporting users as they explore word combinations and build longer messages with word prediction.  

Vocabulary and Layout

FastAAC offers a variety of vocabulary options and layouts.  Here are some options: 

Robust 60– A robust dynamic language system that is still in the Beta testing.   New pages, folders, and vocabulary are constantly being added and updated.  Comes only in a grid size of 60. 

System– Comes with a handful of pre-programmed pages.  You can add more pages from the template or create your own.  Allows for different grid sizes: 

• Mini- 5X3 

• Small- 7X4 

• Medium – 8X5 

• Large- 10X6 

• Full -12X7
