How to Request a Replacement Case for Your QuickTalker Freestyle

If your QuickTalker Freestyle protective case is cracked, broken, or worn out, you can request a free replacement under ableCARE, the five-year warranty included with every QuickTalker Freestyle.
Coverage applies to original purchasers within the five-year window; secondhand and out-of-warranty devices are not eligible. This article walks you through eligibility, safety steps, and how to submit your request.

This guide applies if all of the following are true:
- Your device is a QuickTalker Freestyle speech device.
- It is within the five-year ableCARE warranty period from your original purchase date.
- The protective case (not the device itself) is damaged or worn.
ableCARE covers all types of case damage, including normal wear and tear, cracks, broken hinges, broken handles, and broken kickstands. What You’ll Get🔗
- A new protective case at no cost. The replacement and shipping are fully covered.
- Next Day Air shipping. Most replacements arrive within two business days of approval.
- Just the case. Your existing speech device stays with you and continues to work normally.
You do not need to return the damaged case. You can recycle or discard it once your replacement arrives.

Have these on hand to make the request go quickly:
- Your Funding Request Number (FN), the order number AbleNet assigned when your device was funded.
- Device model name and serial number
- User information for the device owner.
- The shipping address where you’d like the replacement sent.

- Submit the form. You’ll receive a confirmation email within one business day.
- Your replacement case ships Next Day Air. Tracking details arrive by email.

What if my device is past the five-year warranty?
Unfortunately, once your five-year ableCARE warranty has ended, we’re unable to provide a replacement case as cases are not available for individual purchase.

What if I bought my QuickTalker Freestyle secondhand?

I need my device protected right now. What should I do while I wait?
