How to perform a force restart of the QuickTalker Freestyle
If QuickTalker Freestyle isn’t responding, and you can’t restart it by turning it off then on. Try a force restart. The process will be slightly different depending on the device.
QuickTalker Freestyle Force Restart Process (with Home Button)
To force restart QuickTalker Freestyle
- Simultaneously press and hold the top button and the Home button until the Apple logo appears (approximately 15-20 seconds)*.
- When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
* The screen will go black before the Apple logo appears. Continue to hold the top button until the Apple logo appears. Ignore anything that appears on the screen during this time.
QuickTalker Freestyle Mini Force Restart Process (No Home Button)
The force restart process for the QuickTalker Freestyle must be completed quickly.
- Press and release the volume up button.
- Press and release the volume down button.
- Press and hold the top button.*
- When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.
* The screen will go black before the Apple logo appears. Continue to hold the top button until the Apple logo appears. Ignore anything that appears on the screen during this time.
