ableFamilies Seminole Fire Rescue Department Meet-Up (FL)
Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Join us for a fun and educational ableFamilies event hosted by Ambassador Miranda and her family at the Seminole Fire Rescue Department! Families will tour the station, explore fire trucks and gear, and learn simple fire‑safety skills—including when to call 911 and how to use AAC in emergency situations. This hands‑on experience is designed to help kids feel confident while connecting with others in a welcoming, supportive space. Food and beverages will be provided.

- Guided Access to avoid accidental taps
- Understanding your warranty
- How to request free accessories
- Exploring additional ableNet Resources
There’s no limit to how many can attend, and all ableFamilies members will receive access to the replay.

Please Touch Museum: Play Without Boundaries
Friday, June 19 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
At the Please Touch Museum, their Play Without Boundaries is a sensory-friendly event series designed for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and other sensory or communication needs. During these events, the Museum is closed to the general public for two hours and adjusted to create a more relaxed environment; lower lighting, reduced sound, and more space to play comfortably.
We’re excited to share that Mark from ableFamilies will be on-site with an information table, offering resources and support for families using AAC devices like the QuickTalker Freestyle. Stop by to connect and learn more about this amazing parent-led community.
