At the Please Touch Museum, their Play Without Boundaries is a sensory-friendly event series designed for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and other sensory or communication needs. During these events, the Museum is closed to the general public for two hours and adjusted to create a more relaxed environment; lower lighting, reduced sound, and more space to play comfortably.

We’re excited to share that Mark from ableFamilies will be on-site with an information table, offering resources and support for families using AAC devices like the QuickTalker Freestyle. Stop by to connect and learn more about this amazing parent-led community.

Families will tour the station, explore fire trucks and gear, and learn simple fire‑safety skills—including when to call 911 and how to use AAC in emergency situations.
