Summary🔗

The BIG Step-by-Step indicator LED can flash yellow. If the LED flashes yellow once and nothing plays, there is no message recorded.

Causes🔗

Messages may have failed to record, or they may have been erased.

Solutions🔗

To record a new message on your BIG Step-by-Step, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you’ve properly installed a new 9V Alkaline battery into your device. 
2. Turn the device on. 
3. Press and hold the Record button on the back of the device until the LED lights up solid Red,
4. Then release the switch. 
5. Press and hold down the main switch on top of your device and start speaking. 
   • The LED will flash Red when recording. 
6. Speak your message into the communication device, then release the switchtop to complete the recording. 
7. When finished, press the Record button once to exit record mode.

You may now press the switch on your device once, and you should hear your first recording.
