What can I try if the toy/appliance output doesn’t work with an iTalk2?
We recommend turning on the iTalk2 and plugging in the Toy/ Appliance. Sometimes, adapted devices can be misinterpreted if they have low resistance (i.e., a toy that uses a motor). This will force the iTalk2 into output mode.
If the toy/appliance isn’t responding to the iTalk2, disconnect it, turn off the iTalk2 and turn it on again, then delete the recording and create a new recording before plugging iTalk2 into the toy/appliance again. This will resolve the issue of the toy/appliance not responding to the iTalk2.
