This guide explains how to lock the QuickTalker FT so users cannot accidentally erase messages or change levels. Locking the device helps prevent unintended changes and ensures consistent communication.

Instructions🔗

1. Find the Record button on the back of the QuickTalker FT and the Level button on the front.
2. Hold both buttons at the same time until you see all of the level lights flash.

2. To unlock the device, repeat the same step:
   Press and hold the Level and Record buttons for 5 seconds until you see the lights flash.

Tips and Troubleshooting🔗

• Tip: Lock the device before handing it off to students or clients to prevent erasing recorded messages. If locking doesn’t work, double-check that you’re pressing both buttons simultaneously and holding them for 5 seconds. Try again if necessary. You will know you were successful when all the lights flash.
