    • Single flash – a message is being played
    • Flashing, followed by audible warbled beep – the device’s memory has been cleared

Battery

We recommend always using regular, alkaline batteries to avoid any issues with recording or playing messages. Batteries labeled “Heavy Duty,” “Industrial Grade,” or “ProCell” handle power differently than regular alkaline batteries. When used in our devices they behave similar to low or dead batteries.

Additionally, Make sure your battery is new and recently purchased. Used batteries from other devices or batteries that have been sitting for a while may lack the power to operate the switch correctly.

The video below demonstrates how to install a 9V battery into the device.
