Winter is a great time to talk about the things you see in the winter! Take a walk with your AAC user and use the device to talk about items around you. Or find a winter themed book and label the pictures you see. This scavenger hunt will help your user practice labeling and locating items!

1. Model how to get to the words on the device.
2. For more of a challenge, ask them to describe the item for you to find (e.g. find something that is COLD and WHITE!)
3. Help create sentences using a carrier phrase, like “I found ______.”
