1. Within the User’s vocabulary, select “Menu” at the top right
  2. Select “Edit Page”
  3. Select “Menu” at the top right again
  4. Select “Hide Mode”
  5. Now you can tap on any icons you would like to hide. When selected, the icon will have a gray overlay.
  6. When finished, select “Done” at the top left

*To unhide icons, repeat steps above and tap on all hidden icons to unhide them.

Why Hide Icons?🔗

Hiding icons allows for a larger grid size while minimizing overwhelm when introducing AAC to a user. This approach also preserves the motor plan, making it easier to reveal icons gradually as the user becomes more familiar with the system.
