User vs. Page Set: What’s the Difference?🔗

User: Backing up the User saves all data within the user’s entire profile.

Page Set: Backing up the Page Set refers saves the vocabulary pages only.

Backing Up the User🔗

1. Select the gear with the pencil icon.
2. Select User.
3. Select the user (first white banner with the arrow pointing to the right).
4. Select the floppy disk icon.
5. Choose Back up to myTobiiDynavox.
   • Tip: We recommend saving the backup with the user’s name and the current date (e.g., “Jane_2026-04-10”). This makes it easy to identify the most recent backup.

Restoring a User🔗

1. Select the gear with the pencil icon.
2. Select User.
3. Select the current user.
4. Select New User.
5. Under “Existing User,” select Restore.
6. Choose the user and select the green arrow.
7. Select the user you want to restore so that a check mark appears next to it.

Backing Up the Page Set🔗

1. Select the gear with the pencil icon.
2. Select Page Set at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select the Page Set you are using (first white banner with the arrow pointing to the right).
4. Select the floppy disk icon.
5. Select Save a copy to myTobiiDynavox.
   • Tip: We recommend saving the backup with the Page Set’s name and the current date. This makes it easy to find the most recent backup.
6. Select Save.

Restoring a Page Set🔗

1. Select the gear with the pencil icon.
2. Select Page Set.
3. Select Create Page Set.
4. Select User Page Sets.
   • Your previously saved Page Sets should appear here.
5. Select the Page Set you want to restore.
6. Select Next.
7. Select Create.
8. Select the Page Set you want so that a check mark appears next to it.
   • The vocabulary file you were previously using should now be active
