WeaveChat Resource Guide

- Go to the main page of the app with “Settings,” “Connect,” and “Board” as options.
- Select “Settings.”
- Select “Board Builder.”
- Select “Add New Board” in the top green banner.
- Choose a premade board option, enter a name, and select “Save.”

Note: WeaveChat uses voices available within iOS. Custom voices are not available.
- Go to the main page of the app with “Settings,” “Connect,” and “Board” as options.
- Select “Settings.”
- Select “Voice and Language.”
- Select “English.”
- Select the option under “Language” to change the language, and select the options under “Voice Identifier” to choose a voice.
- Select “Update.”

- Go to the main page of the app with “Settings,” “Connect,” and “Board” as options.
- Select “Settings.”
- Select “Voice and Language.”
- Select “Add New Language” in the top green banner.
- Select a language and a voice, then select “Update.”
- Use the green banner at the top of the board to toggle between languages.

- While in the board, select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Select “Hide” in the top left.
- Tap a button to hide or unhide it.
- Select “Stop” when done and exit edit mode.
- Go into a board and select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Navigate to the button you want to edit.
- Select “Edit” in the top toolbar.
- Press and hold the button.
- A popup will appear with editing options.

Adding a New Category:
- Go to the board and select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Navigate to the page you want to edit.
- Select “New” in the top purple toolbar.
- Select “Category Folders,” then “Add New Custom Category.”
- Select your preferred image and adjust the button title, pronunciation, and category as needed.
- Select “Press to Save.”
Adding a New Button:
- Go to the board and select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Navigate to the page you want to edit.
- Select “New” in the top purple toolbar.
- Select “Image,” then “Add New Custom Button.”
- Select your preferred image from the photo library or WeaveChat images.
- Adjust the title, pronunciation, and category as needed.
- Select “Press to Save.”
- Go to the board and select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Select “Swap” in purple at the top.
- Press and hold a button, search for the button you want to swap, select it, and then select “Stop.”
Follow these steps to move buttons on secondary-level pages.
- Go to the board and select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Navigate to the page you want to edit.
- Select “Move” in purple from the top toolbar.
- Press and hold the button, then select the location where you want to move it.
- Select “Stop” when finished.
WeaveChat automatically backs up your account.
- Go to “Settings,” then “PIN Configuration.”
- Type in a PIN, check “Enable PIN.”
- Select what you want to use the PIN to lock
- Select “Press to Save.”
- Select “Launch Connect,” then “Get Started” on this link: https://www.weavechat.com/
- Go to the main page of the app on your device, then “Profile,” then “WeaveChat Connect.” Retrieve the token and input it in your browser to log in.

Vocabulary packs provide additional categories you can add to a board.
- From your board, select “Edit” in the bottom left.
- Select “Vocab.”
- Select a vocabulary pack.
- Select “Add Topic to Board” in the top green banner.
In “Look,” you can adjust settings such as button size, border, and font size across the entire board.
