The Blue2 FT is a Bluetooth switch that lets you move through and select choices in your speech app without touching the screen. This guide shows you how to get switch supported speech apps ready to use with your switch.

Before You Begin 

• Pair your Blue2 FT with your QuickTalker Freestyle.
• A speech app that supports in-app switch scanning.

Instructions 

Although every speech app will have its own set of instructions (found under support articles), here’s a general overview of what to expect.

1. Find the section on using a switch. It is often called “Switch Scanning,” “Switch Activated Scanning,” or “Scanning.” 
2. Follow the guide’s steps to turn on switch scanning in your speech app. 
3. Choose how the app moves through choices on the screen, then choose what happens when you press the switch. 
4. Select whether you will use one switch or two. 
5. Test your setup by pressing your Blue2 FT to move through choices and select one.
