Using the QuickTalker Freestyle at Device-Free Events
The QuickTalker Freestyle (QTF) is an iOS-based speech-generating device provided as a medical device for individuals with limited verbal communication. While it runs on iOS, it’s configured to allow access only to the speech application. All other features are disabled. Because of this, the QTF should not violate device policies at venues that restrict things like photography or recording for intellectual property reasons, such as concerts or sporting events.
