Summary

The Jelly Beamer is a wireless switch that brings reliable, immediate switch access without the hassle of cords. This guide will cover how to connect the Jelly Beamer using either an AbleNet Original Wireless Receiver or the AbleNet PowerLink 4.

To connect to the Original Wireless Receiver, follow the steps below:

  1. Insert new batteries into the Jelly Beamer Transmitter and Original Receiver. 
  2. Turn ON both the Jelly Beamer Transmitter and Original Receiver
  3. Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Test button on the Original Receiver for about 5 seconds or until the LED turns green.
  4. Press the switch on top of the Jelly Beamer to link it to the receiver. Please note that you may repeat this step for additional transmitters (up to 8 transmitters can be paired to a single receiver).
  5. Exit pairing mode by pressing the pairing button on the Original Receiver once.

Now your receiver and transmitter are ready to be used!

To connect to the PowerLink4, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect a PowerLink4 to a power outlet.
  2. Insert new batteries into the Jelly Beamer Transmitter.
  3. Turn the PowerLink4 ON.
  4. PowerLink4 has two independent sides that can be activated by a switch. Choose the side that you want to control with the Jelly Beamer, then press and hold that side’s Status button for about 5 seconds or until the LED next to it turns Green to enter pairing mode.
  5. Press the switch on top of the transmitter to link it to the PowerLink4. Please note that you may repeat this step for additional transmitters (up to 8 transmitters per side can be paired to a PowerLink4).
  6. Press the Status button on the PowerLink4 once to exit the pairing mode.

Now your PowerLink4 and Transmitter are ready to be used!
