How to Remove and Reattach the Kickstand for the QuickTalker Freestyle 10.2”

Removing the kickstand on your QuickTalker Freestyle can make it easier to mount the device when using AbleNet’s Quick Ready Tablet Holder.  

To remove the QuickTalker Freestyle kickstand follow these steps;

  1. Place the device with the screen facing towards the table top so you can access the back of the case
  2. Use a 3 mm hex key to remove the four screws in the corner of the kickstand. Note: These screws are attached with Locktite and will require a significant amount of force to remove.
  3. Lift the kickstand off the QuickTalker Freestyle case
  4. Be sure to store the kickstand and 4 screws in a safe place, in the event you’d like to reattach it at a later time.
  5. You may now place the QuickTalker Freestyle into the Quick Ready Table Holder

If you’d like to reattach your kickstand, please follow the same steps in reverse to reattach it.
