How do I Manage Settings and Configuration of the QuickTalker Freestyle?
Removing Restrictions set on the QuickTalker Freestyle may be necessary in order to access certain features and allow you further options to better tailor the device or speech app to meet the requirements of a particular user’s needs.
To get started you will need the Restrictions Passcode. This is provided to you as part of the initial information packet that is provided with your QuickTalker Freestyle. If you are unable to find this information, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] for support.
To update or remove device Restrictions, please follow these steps:
- Power on your QuickTalker Freestyle
- Swipe from right to left to go to the 2nd page of apps
- Locate and select the Settings app
- On the left side of the screen, locate and tap on Screen Time
- On the right side of the screen, locate and tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions
- To turn off all Restrictions, tap on the green toggle in the top right corner of the screen. You also have the option to adjust individual restrictions in this area as well.
- When prompted, you’ll need to enter the Restrictions Passcode
Restrictions have now been adjusted or removed from the device. If you wish to re-add them, you will need to turn the Restrictions option back on and provide the current Restrictions passcode.
